You might know Ontario native, Paul Bissonnette as a former professional hockey player. Or maybe you’re familiar with his comical online persona, @biznasty But, these days Bissonnette seems to be garnering a lot of attention for his newest alias, “Chef Boyarbiz”.
Since teaming up with Goodfood, the athlete and podcast host has stepped up his cooking game and has traded in his stick and gloves for a pot and skillet. He has posted multiple Instagram videos which showcase him putting his unique spin on our recipes and ingredients. So far, we have seen Bissonnette breeze through some Goodfood favorites such as our Falafel Burgers with Green Tahini Sauce (check out his IGTV for a full length cooking demo), as well as our Seared Salmon with Almond-Dill Pesto.
The athlete says that Goodfood has been a major aid in maintaining his healthy lifestyle whilst being adaptable to his busy schedule. And, by making delicious and nutritious meals with ease, he has also found a new way to impress his friends. Like many of our members, cooking doesn’t come naturally to Bissonnette:
“Last week I didn’t know the difference between a spatula and a spoon. Then I got a delivery that changed my life. The great folks at @goodfoodca sent me a big beautiful box filled with top of the line local produce ready to be whipped into shape.”
We’re happy to have Bissonnette as an addition to the Goodfood family and we can’t wait to see what else Chef Boyarbiz has in store for us!
