The Joy of Dinner

Let’s face it, mealtime can be stressful for some.  Having to plan, shop and prepare for dinner is exhausting. Over 80% of Canadians don’t know what they’re going to have for dinner at 4pm everyday – that means a point of stress every day of the week.  As we head back to routine this fall, Goodfood wants to help solve this daily dinner rut by delivering fresh, quality meals and prepared foods directly to your door.

That is why we recently launched our “Joy of Dinner” campaign inspired by the iconic Bob Ross – someone who famously took the stress out of learning to paint. We are honoured to have worked with Bob Ross’s estate to bring this idea to life and empower our customers to cook with ease. Our hope is that a new generation of people can re-experience Bob’s persona and that the video brings a sense of joy and calm to those who watch.

Customers can shop on the site or the app for restaurant quality meal kits and everyday essentials, including local produce, Canadian raised meats, sustainably sourced fish and unique items like small batch ice cream and Truffle Goat Cheese to melt the stress away.

For those in Toronto and Montreal, you can now also shop for craft beers and local wines to complement your meals – delivered in minutes, subscription free with Goodfood On Demand.
